Biography

Ski racer, athlete, speed freak - that's how Beat Feuz describes himself on his website. A description that is golden. The Swiss athlete ranks among the absolute top stars on the World Cup circuit. He reigns supreme in the Downhill discipline. 2018 to 2021, the speed freak won the Crystal Globe in this discipline four times in a row, and in 2017 also Gold in the World Championship to the delight of his home crowd in St. Moritz. He crowned his career with a Gold medal in the Downhill at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. These achievements are all the more remarkable because he fought injury for many years, but now accepts his knee pain as a permanent factor. Feuz is especially proud of his two daughters Clea and Luisa, who were born in 2018 and 2022. And of course their mum Katrin Triendl, a former World Cup ski athlete from Austria. Feuz also likes to demonstrate his talent at tennis, occasionally competing in the club championship in Triendl's home town of Oberperfuss in Tirol.
