After the North American Ski World Cup prelude at Panorama Resort and in Lake Louise, two Head Athletes were seen standing atop the Giant Slalom Podium. With dangerously icy and windy conditions the Austrians Elisabeth Görgl and Andreas Buder obtained Podium finishes.
Following her third race of the season, the new addition to the Head-Tyrolia Team, Elisabeth Görgl achieved the Podium in Panorama. She was in 9th place after her first run, and in second place at the end, only missing her first World Cup win by 42 hundredths of a second.
The men also found windy conditions that definetely contributed to fast icy conditions in Lake Louise. Head-Tyrolia Team member Andreas Buder was in the 29th starting position and at windy conditions he was able to secure a 3rd Place World Cup finish in his first speed race of the season. It was only the second World Cup Podium finish of the 28 year olds career.
