Didier Cuche Third in Beaver Creek

Didier Cuche nearly secured the victory in the World Cup Downhill on the slopes of Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado. His exciting run left him narrowly missing his first season victory by only ten hundredths of a second.

Five Head Stars under the Top 15
Five Head Stars were in the Top 15, after their showing on Beaver Creeks ' Birds of Prey' run. The Results showed Marco B├╝chel in 5th in front of Bode Miller, with Hermann Maier in 11th, and Head-Tyrolia Racer Ambrosi Hoffmann in 14th Place.

Cuche close to victory
The adverse conditions of snowfall and flat light provided poor visability, but Cuche delivered as a top Racer. The Speed-Specialist, Cuche by a razor thin margin, missed victory by only a tenth of a second leaving him in 3rd Place.
