
Ater winning five Crystal Globes, Team Head came, raced, and took victory in the last single race of the season. Elisabeth Görgl of Austria piloted her way through two powerful runs in the Giant Slalom to claim victory and in the process managed to ski out of this season with herself and team HEAD, on top!
Victorious after second run
Görgl, in extremely warm Italian temperatures, charged through her first run to finish in a close second overall, and with her second run being much faster yet, the new addition to the HEAD Racing Team was able to celebrate her second season victory since her triumph in Maribor, Slovenia.
Second place in the Giant Slalom Ranking
Görgl secured with her win, a top result in the Overall World Cup Giant Slalom Standings. After an impressive five podium places throughout the season, the HEAD newcomer had a total of 479 points and a respectable second place World Cup Giant Slalom finish to celebrate, as well as some serious self confidence to carry into the next season.
