Tszvetana Pironkova wins her first-ever Grand Slam match against Venus Williams

Tszvetana Pironkova, 18-year-old Bulgarian former HEAD Team Elite member was winning in her first-ever Grand Slam match over No. 10 seed American Venus Williams with
6-2 0-6 9-7.

The world No.94 took 148 minutes to send five-time Grand Slam winner Williams to the earliest exit of her seven appearances at the Australian Open.

Pironkova, playing the HEAD Flexpoint Instinct was taking part in just her fourth main draw tournament, having reached semi-finals in her first two events in Istanbul and Palermo.
