At the super G of Hinterstoder Miller is a class of his own

December 20th, 2006

Head-Tyrolia racer Bode Miller (USA) has scored a clear victory at the men´s super-G race in Hinterstoder. With eight tenths of a second ahead of the runner-up he didn´t leave a chance for his competitors. The man from Liechtenstein Marco Buechel on position six, Patrick Staudacher (ITA) and the Swiss Didier Cuche on places eight and nine completed once more the strong result on the part of Head-Tyrolia.

It was an impressive demonstration by the US-American Bode Miller on the Hoess-course in Hinterstoder. The super G had to be completed abbreviatedly, dense fog handicapped the athletes´ sight. But only one man rode at full risk and without any mistake. Like in Val Gardena Bode Miller was a class of his own and scored his third triumph of the season. As a reward he didn´t only take the lead in the super G World Cup ranking but he is also the leader of the overall World Cup.

As the last race before Christmas the men´s giant slalom will take place on december 21st.
