Sundays World Cup Races for the men in Lake Louise and in Panorama (CAN) for the women, resulted in Podium finishes for two Head-Tyrolia Racers, Sarka Zahrobska from the Czech Repulic the current World Champion in Slalom, and Didier Cuche of Switzerland in the Super-G.
With two outstanding runs in Panorama, Sarah Zahrobska nearly secured her first World Cup win of the season. After her first run, the Czech Star already had the third fastest time and with great technique and skill in her final run, she was able to improve her time and post an impressive 2nd Place finish. After three races her 2nd Place finish leaves her in 3rd Place in the Overall World Cup Slalom Standings.
Didier Cuche early in this World Cup season is already in top form. With the first Super-G of the season time and tide waited for no man, and Cuche finished only six tenths of a second behind his first season victory leaving him in 3rd Place. Head Racer Ambrosi Hoffmann of Switzerland finished in 6th Place. The mens season continues with four more battles on the runs of Beaver Creek Resort, Colorado on November 29th.
