HEAD specialists on the podium in Norway again

March 2nd, 2008

After their double victory in the second World Cup Downhill of the weekend in Norway, Bode Miller and Didier Cuche shot out of the gates and as quickly through the World Cup Super G finish line to give themselves yet another podium finish at Kvitfjell in Norway.

Miller still building on his Overall lead

Bode Miller once again skied at his top of the standings level, only missing the top time by two tenths of a second. The HEAD racer skied brilliantly through the various sections of the course resulting in his solid time and the second place finish that was awarded 80 points. With these points Miller has developed a powerful lead over the competition in the overall World Cup standings with Didier Cuche in second place with a 185 point deficit.

Crystal Globe secured by Cuche

After the results of Didier Cuches Super G race on Sunday, the Super G Crystal Globe will almost certainly be his. The Swiss racer is going into the final Super G race of the season in Bormio, Italy with a 89 point lead over the field, so a top 15 finish from Cuche would leave him the man with the Crystal Globe in his hands.
