Riesch celebrates second season victory

Maria Riesch realizes her second triumph this season. The HEAD-Athlete wins the Slalom on the Semmering, Austria and assumes the control of the Slalom ranking.

Already on the winner track after the first run
A clean first run set Riesch on target for the triumph. The HEAD-Racer scored a gap of more then half a second on second place before the final. Keeping the focus in the flood light of the night Slalom on the “Magic hill“ the 24 year-old lady carved relaxed to her second consecutive Slalom victory after La Molina, Spain.

With the red Jersey into the new year
Scoring the second win after four Slalom contests Maria Riesch took over the lead in the Slalom-Worldcup. So the HEAD-Racer takes the red jersey into the new year, while the lady from Partenkirchen, Germany reduced her lag in the Overall-Worldcup to 23 points, putting her in good position in the fight for the big crystal globe.
