Head swimmer George Bovell (200m medley Olimpic bronze medalist in 2004 Athens Olympics), participated in Antimalarian Initiative in Uganda, called „Get Swimming and Fight Malaria“. During his stay, much to the pleasure of many young local swimmers, he participated in a swimming clinic where he was joined by his fellow training partner, Croatian swimmer Duje Draganja (50m freestyle silver medalist in 2004 Athens Olympics and two times 2006 & 2008 World Champion in 50m freestyle - short course). Both Geroge and Duje gave many technical swimming tips and pointed to many details that helped young Ugandian swimmers improve their swimming. Additional participants of Antimalarian Initiative were also a well known Ugandian runners Stephen Kiprotich (Marathon gold medalist in 2012 London Olympics), Dorcas Inzicuru (3000m steeplechase 2005 World Champion) and Moses Kipsiro (5000m gold medalist at the 2010 Commonwealth Games).
