  • HEAD Penn Dominates World Racquetball Championships

    HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria and Rocky Carson both have earned the title “World Champion” by winning the Women’s & Men’s Singles Titles, respectively at the International Racquetball Federation’s 2012 World Championships. In addition, Longoria teamed with HEAD Pro Staff Member Samantha Salas Solis to win the women’s doubles “World Title” for her second Gold medal at the event.

  • Samantha Salas Wins Gold at 2012 Pan American Championships

    In her first competition since last October, Team HEAD Penn’s Samantha Salas returned to the court in a successful fashion by winning a gold medal in the Women’s Doubles competition at the 2012 Pan American Championships. The top of podium finish is the second consecutive for a Mexican duo on the international stage with Salas being a member of both gold medal winning teams. Samantha and her partner also won the Women’s Doubles division at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.

  • HEAD Penn’s Lexi York Makes High School Racquetball History

    Last weekend more than 300 of the country’s top high school racquetball players headed to the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland for the 2012 USA Racquetball National High School Championships. In the girls’ singles bracket, Team HEAD Penn’s Lexi York, playing with the HEAD YouTek Submission racquet, fought off players representing 30 high schools from across the country to win her first High School Girls’ Singles National Championship.

  • HEAD Penn Dominates USA National Doubles Championships

    To say players from HEAD Penn simply “doubled” up on the competition at the 2012 USA Racquetball National Doubles Championships would be an extreme understatement. Just a week after battling it out in the final of the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) event in Salt Lake City, Ben Croft and Rocky Carson teamed up to win their first United States National Doubles Championship as a duo. For Croft, the win in the desert capped a whirlwind span of eight days that brought him his first IRT Tier One tournament victory and his first National Doubles Championship.

  • HEAD Penn’s Ben Croft Captures First Top Level Professional Tournament

    SALT LAKE CITY – It was an all HEAD Penn Final at this weekend’s International Racquetball Tour’s (IRT) event in Utah, where top players Ben Croft and Rocky Carson battled it out in the final. After a five game match that lasted two and a half hours, Croft prevailed to earn his first IRT Tier One tournament of his career with his HEAD Blackjack.

  • HEAD Penn Dominates Pan American Games

    November 2nd, 2011

    In racquetball’s pinnacle international competition, players from HEAD Penn’s Pro Staff left the 2011 Pan American Games with several medals clinging from their necks. Like the Olympic Games, the Pan American Games are held every four years for the countries of the Americas. The 2011 games featured nearly 6,000 athletes from 42 different countries participating in 36 sports. In the racquetball competition 61 athletes from 12 different countries were represented.

  • Jack Huczek retires from Racquetball

  • Team HEAD Fills Podium at 2011 USA Racquetball

    The youth of Team HEAD Penn once again dominated the National Intercollegiate Racquetball Championships. More than 300 players from 45 schools took to the courts on the campus of the Arizona State University looking to bring home a national championship. In each of the top championship divisions, players from Team HEAD Penn reached the finals.

    Players from around the country gathered at the Student Recreation Center on the campus of Arizona State University last weekend for their chance to become racquetball National Doubles Champions. 352 players competed in 75 different divisions.
