World Champion Powers to Village Open Triumph

HEAD player David Palmer of Australia secured his third Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour victory this year, defeating Mohd Azlan Iskandar of Malaysia in three strait sets in the inaugural Village Open Squash Championship.

World Champion Palmer, who plays with HEAD FXP 160 has now won 19 Tour trophies, he currently holds the record for most PSA Tour titles. Palmer is ranked second in the world behind Egyptian Amr Shabana according to the official PSA World Rankings.

Palmer’s other career accomplishments include British Open Champion 2001, 2003 and 2004; World Champion 2002 and 2006; and ranking No. 1 in the world from September 2001- January 2002. Palmer and his wife recently announced the birth of their first child, Kayla Jane, on June 16.
