HEAD, one of the leading manufacturers of tennis and squash racquets world wide, will be coming up with Flexpoint technology for squash in the 2006 collection. A technology which is best known from tennis racquets and has found highest recognition on courts world wide. Now it is the first time that a squash racquet is also showing this revolutionary technology.
David Palmer from Lithgow, New South Wales/Australia, three times British Open winner, one of the most successful squash player world wide and HEAD partner for years signed the new HEAD Flexpoint 160. The racquet shows a head size of 470 cm2 and a length of 685 mm and will be offered in selected stores right in time before Christmas in a limited edition.
Flexpoint, HEAD’ s newest racquet technology features two precisely engineered control holes – positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock – in the racquet’ s head. This creates a new “flexpoint”, which cups the ball and offers players of all levels the ultimate control with no loss of power.
Powered by Liquidmetal, Flexpoint technology is breaking the rules of traditional racquet design by not making racquets stiffer and stiffer, but designing them to flex in a new and revolutionary way. Consumers have been asking for more control in a racquet for long time. Now HEAD has the answer. Experience a new world of control with no loss of power. HEAD Flexpoint: Power. In Control.
