HEAD racquet rebels Daryl Selby and Jenny Duncalf have guided their teams to European Team Champion status, with the British players dominating the competition at the European Squash Team Championships in Espoo, Finland.
Reigning British national champion Selby, playing with his Argon 155CT, helped his side to the men's title while Duncalf (Xenon 135CT) earned the deciding victory for England in the women's final.
Another HEAD player, Natalie Grinham was a member of the Dutch women's team which finished second to England. The male team defeated France 3-0 while the women triumphed 2-0 over Holland.
In the men's final Selby was not even needed in the end. So dominant was the England team that the top player did not even have to take to the court.
But there was more competition on the women's side. With the final level against the Dutch, it came down to Duncalf to secure the victory. The British player did so in style, defeating Vanessa Atkinson to earn wins in all three games, 11/6, 11/2, 11/4.
Congratulations to Jenny and Daryl and the entire English National Team!
