Victory for Team HEAD Swimming in ÖTILLÖ - Ranked by CNN as one of the toughest endurance races in the world.

Team HEAD Swimming made an impressive performance and won the 2013 edition of ÖTILLÖ (island to island), one of the toughest one-day races in the world. The race consists of 65 km cross country running and 10 km open water swimming between and over 26 islands in Stockholm Archipelago. The winning time of 8 hours and 32 minutes resulted in a new course record by 32 minutes.
”It takes an enormous amount of training to win ÖTILLÖ, the speed among the top teams have become extremely fast” says Björn Englund and Paul Krochak from Team HEAD Swimming. 3 out of top 5 finishing teams wore HEAD Modified TriComp12 wetsuits.
Teams from 15 different nations were represented in the race that attracted attention worldwide. ÖTILLÖ is ranked by CNN as one of the toughest endurance races in the world. The competition were well-attended by media and resulted in great coverage of the HEAD brand. The long term partnership with ÖTILLÖ is a great way to establish the brand as number one in the fast growing Swim Run segment.
