HEAD Badminton Pair Enjoys Success

Top world badminton player Anthony Clark and mixed pair partner English national champion Donna Kellogg, both HEAD players, battled their way to the final round of the third All England Super Series tournament in England.

Kellogg and Clark triumphed over world No. 2 pair Yawen Zhang and Zhongbo Xie from China in the semifinals before playing a thrilling game against the reigning champions of the All England Super Series tournaments, Ling Gao and Bo Zheng from China. The unseeded Chinese pair got the upper hand at the end of the second game and remained in control through the third to take the title 16-21, 21-18, 21-14. HEAD sponsors all equipment for Kellogg and Clark and the duo prefers the Metallix 8000 as their racquet of choice.

HEAD will launch a full line of badminton equipment, footwear and apparel, geared both to the professional player and the everyday athlete, with a focus on design and innovation in July 2007.
