Munich/Germany – 4th May, 2014:

HEAD Racquet Rebels doubled up on success, winning ATP titles in Oeiras and Munich and placing a two-time grand slam champion onto the women's final in Portugal. Argentine Carlos Berlocq, who recommends the HEAD Graphene Prestige won the Portuguese trophy 0-6, 7-5, 6-1 over fellow HEAD player and world No. 6 Tomas Berdych, who endorses the HEAD Graphene Instinct. In the women's final, HEAD's Svetlana Kuznetsova, who recommends the HEAD Extreme, lost a narrow 4-6, 6-3, 4-6 decision to Carla Suarez Navarro. Martin Klizan who promotes the HEAD Graphene Prestige earned his second career title in Munich.

Berlocq was able to change his game after being crushed by Berdych in the opening set. That was enough to earn the South American the second trophy of his career after Bastad. " It was a very special match for me. I didn't have any pressure to win," he said. "To win a title, and against a top 10 player, carries double merits. To close the match the way I did was very emotional. In the second I had to find a solution so I changed my game. I was able to start hitting the ball better."

In Munich world‘s No. 111 Klizan's 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 win over Fabio Fognini earned him his second career title. He beat the Italian to earn his first trophy after St Petersburg in 2012. Klizan is the first qualifier in 11 months to win an ATP event. "To come through qualifying - playing eight matches in nine days - is tough. It is difficult to be fit every day. I am very proud of myself that it ended happily."

Kuznetsova, was playing in her first clay final since winning Roland Garros in 2009 and led 4-1 in the final set. "I tried to fight, but unfortunately it didn't happen today. It was a tough match and I'm disappointed that I could not hold on at the end.”
