Victoria Azarenka heads to WTA finals after third season title
October 24th, 2011HEAD racquet rebel Victoria Azarenka won her third title of the WTA season with a victory over Romanian Monica Niculescu, claiming the trophy at the Luxembourg Open. The Belarus champion added the indoor honours to her 2011 trophies at Miami on hard-court and a week later on the clay of Marbella, Spain. Wimbledon semi-finalist Azarenka will now move on to the WTA Championships in Istanbul with supreme confidence after winning her eighth career title.

Andy Murray takes over world No.3 after winning Shanghai Masters

In Beijing at the China Open, Tomas Berdych ended his title draught lasting more than two and a half years beating fellow HEAD racquet rebel Marin Cilic of Croatia 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.
