HEAD launches new MicroGel Team Racquet Series

HEAD recently launched the new MicroGel Series of Team racquets, including the MicroGel Extreme Team and the MicroGel Radical Team. Furthermore, a newly redesigned version of the Flexpoint Instinct Team was introduced at the same time.

When combined with carbon composite fibers in the racquet head, MicroGel deforms and compresses upon ball impact, uniformly absorbing and distributing the impact load around the entire frame, creating a rock-solid feel while offering extra stability against twisting.

Aggressive players with a medium to fast swing will benefit most from the Team Series. Providing the control of Tour Series racquets, but with added pop and maneuverability, these racquets offer the main characteristics of the pro tour models while maximizing control and allowing more forgiving shots.

•The MicroGel Radical Team offers the same feel, control and precision enjoyed by the pros, but this racquet’s lighter weight, larger head size and more open string pattern gives frequent players an extra advantage.
•The most powerful frame in the Team Series lineup is the MicroGel Extreme Team. This racquet shares many characteristics of the Extreme Tour racquet, ensuring maximum spin with a uniquely solid feel and touch.
•The Flexpoint Instinct Team racquet is a more powerful, maneuverable and forgiving version of the Tour racquet and is well-suited for aggressive, intermediate players. A larger sweet spot and extra “pop” offer added spin and response.
