  • Robin Haase claims first ATP title

    HEAD racquet rebel Robin Haase won the first career title on the ATP World Tour and claimed the first for the Netherlands in seven years with his 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 victory over Albert Montanes at the Bet-At-Home Cup in Kitzbühel. Haase, playing with a YouTek Prestige Mid, is the first from his nation to lift a trophy on the ATP since former French Open finalist Martin Verkerk won at home in Amersfoort in 2004.

  • Marin Cilic runner-up at home tournament

    HEAD racquet rebel Marin Cilic claimed a spot in the final at his home tournament at the Studena Croatian Open in Umag. Cilic, playing with a YouTek Radical MP, fell to Alexandr Dolgopolov of the Ukraine 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in the final. Cilic was playing in his tenth career final on the ATP and now stands 5-5 in title bids.

  • Gilles Simon claims Hamburg title

    HEAD racquet rebel Gilles Simon lifted his first title in Germany with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, defeat of Spain's Nicolas Almagro to win the ATP 500 bet-at-home.com Open in Hamburg. On his way to the title, he could also beat HEAD fellow player Mikhail Youzhny in the semi finals.

  • Robin Soderling back on track - Anabel Medina Garrigues makes history

    It was a most successful weekend for the HEAD Racquet rebels as they claimed three titles in total. While Robin Soderling won his home Swedish Open in Bastad, Anabel Medina Garrigues was the winner in Palermo. Roberta Vinci picked up doubles honours in Palermo.

  • Roberta Vinci earns second title in three tournaments with Budapest triumph

    HEAD racquet rebel Roberta Vinci has won her second title in three events, earning a 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 defeat of Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania. HEAD also took the doubles title as Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues and Polish partner Aleksandra Rosolska beat South African Nathalie Grandin and Czech Vladmira Uhlirova 6-2, 6-2. Johanna Larsson reached the final of Bastad in front of her homecrowd.

  • Novak Djokovic wins Wimbledon, claims ATP World No. 1 Ranking

    Novak Djokovic captured his first title at the All England Lawn Tennis Club as he swung his YouTek IG Speed MP to perfection in a thrilling 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 defeat of Rafael Nadal. Fellow HEAD player Maria Sharapova also played a tremendous tournament with her brand-new YouTek IG Instinct and reached the final seven years after her first Wimbledon title.

  • Roberta Vinci wins first grass title on eve of Wimbledon

    Roberta Vinci won her first grass-court title, taking the honours at the UNICEF Open in 's-Hertogenbosch. Timing for the winner could not have been better, with the HEAD racquet rebel defeating Australian Jelena Dokic in a comeback just ahead of Wimbledon. On the men’s side, Ivan Dodig claimed a spot in the final round.

  • Andy Murray wins London home title to make British history

    HEAD racquet rebel Andy Murray became only the second British man to win the hometown Queen's club grass-court event as the Scot tunes up to fever-pitch for Wimbledon. Murray's 3-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 victory in two and a half hours over flamboyant Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga made him the first Briton to win the home event twice since the last to do it in 1913.

The Serb won 41 straight matches from January, the second best start to a season since John McEnroe’s 42-match winning streak in 1984. Andy Murray also reached the semi finals while Maria Sharapova secured a spot in the semi finals before falling to eventual winner Li Na.
