  • HEAD sponsors Tennis Europe Winter Cup

    The 2012 edition of the Tennis Europe Winter Cups by HEAD has come to a close with Czech Republic, France, Great Britain and Russia all winning titles for a second consecutive year. HEAD has been the presenting sponsor of the competition since 2007. A number of HEAD stars feature in the event’s roll of honour, with Andy Murray, Richard Gasquet and Svetlana Kuznetsova amongst the former champions, while others such as Novak Djokovic and Tomas Berdych have also taken part.

    HEAD racquet rebel Novak Djokovic claimed his hat-trick of titles at the Australian Open as he beat Rafael Nadal 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5 to win his fifth career Grand Slam trophy. The Serb, recommending the YouTek IG Speed, won the longest final in Grand Slam history lasting five hours, 53 minutes. The 24 year-old HEAD Ace has now beaten Nadal in seven consecutive finals and continues to stand on top of the world rankings in men’s tennis. Djokovic's victory was his fourth in the last five Grand Slams.

  • HEAD and Tennis Europe announce partnership extension

    HEAD has announced the extension of their partnership with Tennis Europe, the largest regional association of the sport's governing body, the International Tennis Federation (ITF), until the end of 2013. HEAD will continue to be recognized as the Official Racquet, Tennis Ball and Tennis Bag partner of the European Tennis Federation and will once again place a strong focus on junior activities.

  • HEAD ATP the ball of choice at Davis Cup Final

    The HEAD ATP ball has again proved itself as ball of choice in this year’s Davis Cup competition. The ball was used in 7 out of 15 World Group ties contested this season in the prestigious international team competition and is being used in the 2011 final between Spain and Argentina starting today in Seville.
