HEAD Racquet Rebels head into second week of French Open
June 4th, 2012Novak Djokovic staged a stirring fightback to reach the French Open quarter-finals as the HEAD racquet rebel recovered from two sets to love down for the third time in his career against Andreas Seppi. The Serb will swing his YouTek IG Speed MP into the second week at Roland Garros as he works for a place in the record books by winning a fourth consecutive Grand Slam trophy. Maria Sharapova only lost five games on her way to the fourth round and has a chance to regain the world no. 1 position if she continues her great run in Paris.

Sharapova storms back to defend Rome title
May 21st, 2012Maria Sharapova won a second straight title as she repeated her trophy triumph from 2011 at the Foro Italico, defeating French Open champion Li Na of China in the final of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia. Novak Djokovic reached another final against Rafael Nadal which was played a day late due to the weekend rain. The HEAD ace came up just short in a 7-5, 6-3 result but heads into the French Open looking to make history for himself as he bids to win a fourth consecutive Grand Slam title.

Berdych pushes Federer in Madrid battle
May 15th, 2012HEAD racquet rebel Tomas Berdych showed fantastic performances in last week’s ATP Masters 1000 event in Madrid before bowing out to Roger Federer 3-6, 7-5, 7-5. The Mutua Madrilena Open being played in on experimental blue clay seemed almost perfect for the big game of sixth-seed Berdych, who tested Federer heavily in their struggle lasting 2:39. Roberta Vinci claimed the women's doubles title together with Sara Errani which sent them to the No. 1 spot in the race to the WTA Championships in doubles.

Djokovic wins 30th title in an all HEAD final at Miami
April 2nd, 2012Novak Djokovic won a tight battle between fellow HEAD racquet rebels, bolstering his world No. 1 status with a third career trophy at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami. Djokovic lifted the 30th title of his career with a 6-1, 7-6 (4) defeat over Andy Murray in the final. This victory completed a Miami hat-trick for the 24-year-old after winning in 2007 and 2011. On the women's side, Maria Sharapova claimed a spot in the final.

Djokovic and Sharapova look forward to Miami
March 19th, 2012HEAD racquet rebels Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova reached the final weekend at the ATP-WTA event in Indian Wells, California and head across country to the Masters event in Miami. Defending champion Djokovic took American John Isner to the limit before coming up short in his semi-final. Sharapova entered the final against Victoria Azarenka.
