    HEAD racquet rebel Andy Murray established himself as a threat to return to third in the world after winning his second Asian title with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-0 victory over Rafael Nadal followed by a doubles triumph with his brother Jamie at the Japan Open in Tokyo. In Beijing at the China Open, Tomas Berdych ended his title draught lasting more than two and a half years beating fellow HEAD racquet rebel Marin Cilic of Croatia 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.

  • Andy Murray aiming to return to No. 3 ATP after winning the Bangkok final

    Andy Murray triumphed in a one-way battle as the world No. 4 crushed American Donald Young 6-2, 6-0 to win the Thailand Open. Murray needed just 47 minutes at the Impact arena at Bangkok to win his third trophy of the season after Queen's Club and the Cincinnati ATP Masters 1000 event.

  • First US Open title for unstoppable Novak Djokovic

    HEAD racquet rebel Novak Djokovic continues his total domination of the 2011 season as the world No. 1 overcame Rafael Nadal 6-2, 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-1 to win his first US Open title, his fourth career Grand Slam title. The 24 year-old is only the sixth man in the Open Era to win three Grand Slam titles in the same year.

  • Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray dominate in New York

    HEAD racquet rebels Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have moved into pole position at the US Open for the second week, with both looking for career-first title honours at the final Grand Slam of the season. Gilles Simon also made it to the fourth round winning in five sets against 2009 champion Juan-Martin Del Potro. On the women's side, Svetlana Kuznetsova is also still in the draw and will face World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki today.

  • Sharapova and Murray score double haul for HEAD

    Andy Murray tagged fellow HEAD racquet rebel Novak Djokovic with only his second loss from 59 matches this season, with the Scot winning a second Cincinnati Masters 1000 title in three years. Murray claimed the trophy leading 6-4, 3-0, when Djokovic's sore shoulder forced him to retire. Maria Sharapova claimed her second season title by defeating Jelena Jankovic in three sets.

    HEAD racquet rebel Novak Djokovic wielded his YouTek IG Speed MP with deadly accuracy to win his ninth title of the season with a victory at the Rogers Cup over American Mardy Fish. It marked another record in 2011 for the form player of the circuit as Djokovic became the first man to ever win five ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events in one season. Victoria Azarenka reached the semi finals of Toronto.

  • Robin Haase claims first ATP title

    HEAD racquet rebel Robin Haase won the first career title on the ATP World Tour and claimed the first for the Netherlands in seven years with his 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 victory over Albert Montanes at the Bet-At-Home Cup in Kitzbühel. Haase, playing with a YouTek Prestige Mid, is the first from his nation to lift a trophy on the ATP since former French Open finalist Martin Verkerk won at home in Amersfoort in 2004.

  • Marin Cilic runner-up at home tournament

    HEAD racquet rebel Marin Cilic claimed a spot in the final at his home tournament at the Studena Croatian Open in Umag. Cilic, playing with a YouTek Radical MP, fell to Alexandr Dolgopolov of the Ukraine 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in the final. Cilic was playing in his tenth career final on the ATP and now stands 5-5 in title bids.

    It was a most successful weekend for the HEAD Racquet rebels as they claimed three titles in total. While Robin Soderling won his home Swedish Open in Bastad, Anabel Medina Garrigues was the winner in Palermo. Roberta Vinci picked up doubles honours in Palermo.
