The MicroGel Prestige racquet line received rave reviews in the April issue of the German Tennis Magazin, one of the leading tennis publications in Europe. The magazine called the line a perfect "Head-Trick” due to the three racquet models available, the Prestige Mid, Prestige Mid Plus and the Prestige Pro.
The legendary Prestige racquet was introduced in 1987 and has won every Grand Slam: Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon & US Open. Used by legends such as Henri Leconte, Thomas Muster, Goran Ivanisevic and Gustavo Kuerten, the new MicroGel Prestige is also the favourite of current pros like Marat Safin and Gael Monfils.
"The new Prestige series offers racquets for different playing types," judged Tennis Magazin chief racquet tester Mike Reynolds. "The racquets are developed for athletic players with good technical abilities.”
The magazine praised the HEAD MicroGel Prestige line for providing great control and feedback, fantastic touch and enormous power. The magazine asked tennis pro Marat Safin about playing with the MicroGel Prestige and he exclaimed, "I love this racquet," which is an opinion held by many of the tour and club players who use the Prestige racquets.
The racquet line incorporates HEAD's MicroGel technology, a revolutionary silicone-based material with the lowest density of any solid known on the planet. On ball impact, HEAD MicroGel uniformly distributes the impact load around the frame to provide a rock-solid feel and superior touch.
The magazine reccomends the Prestige Mid for players with high technical ability, the Prestige Mid Plus for allround players and names the Prestige Pro as the "easiest" of the trio, providing great spin.
The HEAD MicroGel Prestige series is available at retailers around the world.
