Djokovic and Sharapova look forward to Miami
March 19th, 2012HEAD racquet rebels Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova reached the final weekend at the ATP-WTA event in Indian Wells, California and head across country to the Masters event in Miami. Defending champion Djokovic took American John Isner to the limit before coming up short in his semi-final. Sharapova entered the final against Victoria Azarenka.

HEAD sponsors Tennis Europe Winter Cup
February 20th, 2012The 2012 edition of the Tennis Europe Winter Cups by HEAD has come to a close with Czech Republic, France, Great Britain and Russia all winning titles for a second consecutive year. HEAD has been the presenting sponsor of the competition since 2007. A number of HEAD stars feature in the event’s roll of honour, with Andy Murray, Richard Gasquet and Svetlana Kuznetsova amongst the former champions, while others such as Novak Djokovic and Tomas Berdych have also taken part.

HEAD Penn Dominates USA National Doubles Championships
February 14th, 2012To say players from HEAD Penn simply “doubled” up on the competition at the 2012 USA Racquetball National Doubles Championships would be an extreme understatement. Just a week after battling it out in the final of the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) event in Salt Lake City, Ben Croft and Rocky Carson teamed up to win their first United States National Doubles Championship as a duo. For Croft, the win in the desert capped a whirlwind span of eight days that brought him his first IRT Tier One tournament victory and his first National Doubles Championship.

February 7th, 2012HEAD racquet rebels Tomas Berdych and Mikhail Youzhny earned ATP title success indoors with trophies at Montpellier and Zagreb. World No. 7 Berdych from the Czech Republic defeated Gael Monfils of France 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in their final, while Youzhny swung his YouTek IG Extreme Pro for the win over Slovak Lukas Lacko 6-2, 6-3. Carlos Berlocq reached the final of Vina del Mar.

January 29th, 2012HEAD racquet rebel Novak Djokovic claimed his hat-trick of titles at the Australian Open as he beat Rafael Nadal 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5 to win his fifth career Grand Slam trophy. The Serb, playing with his YouTek IG Speed MP, won the longest final in Grand Slam history lasting five hours, 53 minutes. The 24 year-old HEAD Ace has now beaten Nadal in seven consecutive finals and continues to stand on top of the world rankings in men’s tennis. Djokovic's victory was his fourth in the last five Grand Slams.

Murray claims Brisbane title while Berdych captures Hopman Cup for Czech Republic

Meanwhile Tomas Berdych beat Richard Gasquet 7-6, 6-4 in a battle of HEAD racquet rebels as he led the Czech Republic to the Hopman Cup title in Perth over France.

HEAD and Tennis Europe announce partnership extension
December 14th, 2011HEAD has announced the extension of their partnership with Tennis Europe, the largest regional association of the sport's governing body, the International Tennis Federation (ITF), until the end of 2013. HEAD will continue to be recognized as the Official Racquet, Tennis Ball and Tennis Bag partner of the European Tennis Federation and will once again place a strong focus on junior activities.
