HEAD Racquets Earn Top Praise In German Tennis Journals

February 15th, 2007

The German tennis journals Deutsches Tennismagazin and Deutsche Tenniszeitung tested several racquets in certain categories. The Magazine editors of Deutsches Tennismagazin tested 18 racquets that would fit a range of players from the ambitious leisure players to the semi-pro while Deutsche Tenniszeitung rated twelve racquets from the clubplayers racquet range.

The HEAD Radical Team racquet earned testwinner in the March Edition of Deutsches Tennismagazin for its outstanding control, superior head size and versatility among all types of players. Overall, the racquet received the following ratings: Control 1, Power 2+, Comfort 2, Total 1-.

Editors also reviewed the HEAD Prestige Team racquet and praised the racquet for its ability to grant power despite the big head size. The magazine raved, “the rule: the more power, the less control is not valid for this racquet. Our testers recommend the racquet to technically versed players, who search for a frame which is easy to play without losing precision.”

Overall the HEAD Prestige Team racquet received the following ratings: Control 1-, Power 2+, Comfort 2-, Total 2+.

The HEAD Flexpoint Fire came out above the other club player racquets in the test of Deutsche Tenniszeitung, especially because of its high precision rate. Further it is mentioned that the Flexpoint Fire perfectly accomplishes the split between great control and still enough power and comfort.
