Zhou Mi Reaches Thailand Open Finals

HEAD Badminton Player Zhou Mi proved last week at the Thailand Open that she is on her way back to the badminton top ten after a year-long injury. Mi reached the final round of the Thailand Open beating top ranked players along the way.

Mi, who plays with a HEAD Metallix 4000, beat World No. 7 Lan Lu from China in the second round 21-16, 21-15 and went on to defeat World No. 5 Xu Huaiwen in the quarterfinals 21-18, 10-21, 21-14. Her comeback ended with a three set match against former teammate and World No. 3 Lin Zhu of China in the final round, losing 20-22, 21-5, 21-14.
