4 HEAD Racquet Rebels among Top 10 in Latest ATP Ranking

At the heels of a stellar performance at the Australian Open, HEAD players steadily head up the ranks, with 4 of its rebels making the top 10 list in today’s ATP World Tour Ranking.

“We have kicked off the year with a bang,” said Robert Marte, Executive Vice President of HEAD Racquetsports.
“The latest ranking is one of the best-ever for HEAD players collectively.

We at HEAD are extremely proud to support such strong athletes.” All in all, 10 HEAD Racquet Rebels are currently ranked in the top 25 of the ATP World Tour ranking.

A look at the HEAD rebels in the top 10:

NOVAK DJOKOVIC (SRB, 22)
With a solid performance at the Australian Open, the 22-year-old Novak Djokovic, playing YouTek™ Speed Pro, moved up one spot and reached a new career ranking by becoming world No. 2. The Serbian played a fantastic tournament in Melbourne until the quarters. He unfortunately caught a virus during the tournament, which affected his performance against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

ANDY MURRAY (GBR, 22)
After playing a phenomenal tournament in Australia, the 22-year-old Scot regained position world No. 3 in the ATP World Tour Ranking. He had a fantastic run to the fi nal, where he eventually had to throw the towel to world No. 1 Roger
Federer. In 2009, Murray, playing YouTek™ Radical Pro, claimed 6 titles on the ATP World Tour – the most of any player.

ROBIN SODERLING (SWE, 25)
The French Open Finalist of 2009 has won 4 ATP titles so far, and currently holds the highest position in his career at world No. 8. The 25-year-old Swede plays with a YouTek™ Radical MP.

MARIN CILIC (CRO, 21)
The fi rst Croatian to make it to the Australian Open semi final, Cilic reached a new career high by entering the top 10 (world No. 10). In 2010, he holds a match record of 10-1 as he defended the title of Chennai prior to the Australian Open.
