HEAD Flexpoint Prestige Already a Tour Success

The 23-year-old Argentine and his HEAD Flexpoint Prestige racquet outlasted Massu 6-4, 6-3 in the singles championship match of the clay court event in front of a pro-Massu crowd. A day earlier Acasuso teamed with fellow countryman Sebastian Prieto to upset top-seeds Frantisek Cermak and Leos Friedl of the Czech Republic 7-6 (2), 6-4 in the doubles final match.

Sunday’s victory marked the second title at the event and third career ATP crown for Acasuso, who has won both of the past two meetings with fifth-seeded Massu. Acasuso dropped only one set during the tournament.
