Mathias Boe earns first victory for HEAD Badminton

Last week HEAD player Mathias Boe of Denmark won the men’s doubles competition of the “Bulgarian Energetics” JSC Badminton Championship 2006, earning the first official victory of a HEAD badminton player on the IBF Badminton Circuit.

Boe and partner Joachim Fischer Nielsen defeated Michal Logosz and Robert Mateusiak of Poland in the quarterfinals 25-23, 21-18 and went on to beat Matthew Hughes and Martyn Lewis of Wales 21-8, 21-12 in the semifinals. The team went on to score the victory against Simon Mollyhus and Anders Kristiansen of Denmark 18-21, 21-18, 25-23.
