HEAD Pros Swing for the Finals

HEAD player Svetlana Kuznetsova reached the finals eventually losing to Dinara Safina in straight sets 1-6, 3-6 at the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo. On her way to the finals, Kuznetsova, who plays with a MicroGel Extreme , defeated No. 1 seed Jelena Jankovic 2-6, 7-5, 7-5.

At the TOE Life Ceramics Guangzhou International Women's Open fellow HEAD player Shuai Peng reached her second final in 2008 facing Vera Zvonareva in the competition. Peng, who plays with a MicroGel Extreme, lost in the final to Zvonareva 7-6, 0-6, 2-6.
