HEAD Racquet Rebel Novak Djokovic dominated Rafael Nadal to capture his fourth Miami Masters title. The Serb, who recommends the HEAD Graphene Speed, achieved a 6-3, 6-3 victory in a match where he looked unstoppable. The ATP No. 2 become only the second player to win the Indian Wells-Miami double twice after Roger Federer.
"It's been a fantastic tournament," said the winner. "I played a great match from start to finish. It's always a challenge to beat Rafa and a pleasure to play him; In 2007 I won my first big title here. Today I didn't give him a chance to get back into the match; I'm very satisfied with my game."
Djokovic and Nadal were playing for the 40th time, with the Serb winning his 18th in the series. After his third straight victory over Nadal and winning 20 straight matches at the Masters 1000 level (four titles in a row) Djokovic heads back to Europe.
In the women's competition, Racquet Rebel Maria Sharapova, who promotes the HEAD Graphene Instinct, reached the semi-finals. She took a 6-4, 6-3 defeat against Serena Williams but walked away with a positive attitude. "You finish the match and you know where you need to improve and the things that you need to work on. You make sure that you're in there every point and you're doing your thing, and not just for a short period of time.”
