The Instinct, HEAD’s first player racquet developed with extra power for Tour competitors, is now available with MicroGel technology, adding a rock solid feel to an already exceptionally popular racquet.
Originally launched in 2004, the Instinct is designed for aggressive players with longer, faster swing styles. The racquet has a broad and loyal following, representing more than 15% of HEAD’s tour racquet sales.
With fresh, aggressive styling and new MicroGel technology, the Instinct is poised to become even more popular among players wanting extra power and great control.
“The new MicroGel Instinct delivers the solid feel to critical in today’s fast-paced, aggressive game—and that’s just what our players are looking for,” said Kevin Kempin, Vice President of sales and marketing, HEAD Penn Racquet Sports. “MicroGel technology creates racquets with unparalleled response qualities that look cool at the same time.”
When combined with carbon composite fibers in the racquet head, MicroGel deforms and compresses upon ball impact, uniformly absorbing and distributing the impact load around the entire frame, creating a rock-solid feel while offering extra stability against twisting.
The MicroGel Instinct is available in retail stores now.
