Biography

Emil hails from Falun, Sweden and has been skiing since age 2, backflipping since age 11. Combining the two, he started competing and making his own edits, taking inspiration from Swedish ski sensation and film star Jon Olsson. Emil regularly featured in the SLVSH Games, a knock-out contest where skiers go head-to-head trying to match each other’s tricks. He’s gone up against freestyle royalty Jesper Tjäder and Henrik Harlaut, another of his role models, and is hailed in the ski community for his style and creativity. He has been collecting FIS points across the world since 2013, winning Big Air gold at the Swedish National Championships in 2017 and 2019. More recently he won the 2020 European Cup for Slopestyle Freeski and in 2022 he claimed bronze in the same competition. Young at heart, he occasionally takes off his skis to skate or kitesurf but his favourite playground will always be the mountains.
