Back on track in the new season Emanuele Buzzi's best result was sixth in the Downhill on the 19th of January 2019 on the Lauberhorn run in Wengen. It was a close call for him that day. He wiped out crossing the finish line and crashed into the nets. Unfortunately, this resulted in breaking the top end of his shinbone. In his comeback season, the speed discipline specialist finished in the top ten. Buzzi has now signed a contract with HEAD until 2022 and wants to get right back on track during the 2020/21 season. The Italian athlete comes from Sappada, a small community with 1,300 inhabitants in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, where his dedicated fans provide strong support.
