World-class in Giant Slalom. Coralie Frasse Sombet grew up in Saint Ismier in Isère and as a kid always spent her winter holidays in Chamrousse with her grandfather. So she was on course to become a world-class skier from an early age. The French athlete made her World Cup debut on the 27th of October 2012 in the Giant Slalom in Sölden. It is in this discipline that she has achieved her greatest World Cup successes so far: in 2017 she clocked two finishes in the top ten - ninth in Aspen and tenth in Maribor. As a member of the French team, she has already stood on the World Cup podium after winning Bronze in the Parallel Slalom. In her spare time, Coralie Frasse Sombet enjoys hiking in the mountains, playing cards, reading and cycling.
