CRUX PRO SKI

Nothing was held back when creating the CRUX PRO ski line. The ski is the culmination of decades of experience combined with bold new engineering. Tested in the extremes by #TeamCRUX, a worldwide group of alpine professionals and backcountry explorers. Built to crush the ascents and charge the descents, this is a no compromise ski collection, engineered in Austria.

ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE

The all new Full Triaxial Carbon Jacket consists of fibers woven in three angles to provide exceptional torsional rigidity and the signature look of the ski. The fibers are topped with a Snow Free Coating in place of a traditional top-sheet to keep weight low and prevent snow build up. Below the fibers is a Graphene and Karuba core, which has been milled to remove unnecessary material, this gives the ski it’s distinctive profile.

CRUX SKI COLLECTION

In addition to the top tier CRUX PRO collection of equipment is the CRUX line of skis. Featuring many of the same features as it’s bigger sibling, the CRUX line has a focus on accessibility, offering the ideal entry into the world of touring.

HEAD CRUX BOOT

In Altivole, Italy, HEAD’s ski boot design team worked with an international network of mountain guides to develop a no-compromise boot, with equal performance on the ascent and descent. High-performance recycled plastics and bio-plastics are integrated into the construction.

THE ALL NEW CRUX BOOT LINE

Featuring all new Power LYT design, the CRUX Boot line delivers incredible skiability in a super strong, super light package. Accept no compromise in the ascent or descent.

POWER LYT DESIGN

The new design ethos of the boot manifests in three separate but intrinsic components. The Comfort Skin Shell wraps the foot wraps evenly in a balanced 99mm last, while the Control Cuff houses 2 upper buckles with a high profile to offer superior ski control. The LYT Dynamic Frame connects the two with the ski-hike device and offers a powerful energy transmission.

TOURING SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE

The new ski-hike device offers a 55° range of motion when open and locks securely when closed for the best of both worlds. In ascent mode, buckle lock keeps things tidy and the custom rockered Vibram Durastep Outsole keeps the grip levels high when the skis are off.

CX 30+ BACKPACK

The all new CX 30+ backpack prioritises accessibility and secure storage to carry all of your backcountry essentials, whether you are just out for the day or travelling from hut to hut. Entry to the main compartment comes via the roll top or back entry, with additional avalanche tool compartment and valuables pockets. Coming in black or white, the pack also features A-Frame or diagonal ski carry and a lightweight helmet carry.

CRUX CARBON POLES

From the top down this is a true touring pole, designed to make life in the skin track easier. The extended 2K Foam grip is comfortable and offers multiple hand positions, with an integrated climbing aid adjustment hook. The adjustable shaft is made with lightweight carbon fiber and are tipped with ice flex pivoting baskets.

CRUX TOURING SKINS

An optimal blend of 65% Mohair, 35% Nylon, CRUX Touring Skins are pre-cut and ready to use, getting you to into the skin track faster.
