Biography

Franz Klammer is a former Austrian racing skier who stood on skis for the first time at the age of 3. He was Olympic winner in 1976 in the discipline of Downhill and with 25 Downhill wins, as well as 5 time wins in the downhill World Cup he is the most successful racing skier in this discipline in the World Cup history. In 1985 he retires from active racing ski sports.
