Biography

Anita Wachter-Salzgeber is a former alpine ski racer who retired from competition in 2001 after 19 World Cup wins and 8 medals at the OlympicGames and the World Championship. She is a Olympic Gold medalist and won the World Cup overall title in 1993 as well as the giant slalom title in 1990 and 1994. Besides her Olympic gold medal she also won two Olympic silver medals in 1992. Nowadays she enjoys the life with her husband Rainer Salzgeber and their two daughters.
