Biography

Fighting back to the top! Ragnhild Mowinckel has already bagged two Olympic medals: In Pyeongchang 2018 she won Silver in the Downhill as well as Silver in the Giant Slalom. In 2019, she followed them up with a Bronze medal in the Combined event at the World Championships in Aare. The Norwegian athlete celebrated her first World Cup victory in March 2018 in the Giant Slalom in Ofterschwang. However, she then suffered a bitter setback with two torn cruciate ligaments. But even these injuries did not deter Ragnhild Mowinckel. She continued to fight back and was delighted to win her second World Cup victory in March 2022 at the Super-G in Courchevel. When she is not skiing, she likes to immerse herself in a good book. Oh, and then there's the binge watching TV shows!
