Biography

Conny's first ice mile was completed on 27th January 2017 in Zwembad De Waterdam Volendam in a pool in Volendam, Germany, with a water temperature of 4.44°C in 30 minutes 3 seconds. Her swim was verified by the International Ice Swimming Association.

She finished 16th in the ice kilometer at the 2016 Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere World Championships in Burghausen, Germany.

She has completed six official ice kilometer swims, verified by the International Ice Swimming Association :

10th January 2016 at the Aqua Sphere Ice Swimming World Championships in Burghausen, Germany, in 16 minutes 46 seconds, in 4.9°C water.

14th January 2016 at the Dutch Open Ice Swim Championships in Zwembad De Waterdam, Netherlands, in 16 minutes 56 seconds, in 4.9°C water.

4th December 2016 at the German Ice Cup Burghausen in Burghausen, Germany, in 16 minutes 28 seconds, in 4.8°C water.

18th December 2016 at the ICE Cup (D+A) in Vienna, Austria, in 16 minutes 1.9 seconds, in 4.4°C water.

6th January 2016 at the 2nd Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere Championships in Burghausen, Germany, in 16 minutes 45.44 seconds, in 4.4°C water.

14th January 2016 at the Eiskönig Chiemsee in Prien, Germany, in 16 minutes 46.20 seconds, in 4.4°C water.

On 6th January 2018, she finished 9th overall in the 200m freestyle at the 2018 Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere German Open in Wöhrsee, Burghausen, Germany.

On 5th January 2018, she finished 9th overall in the 1km ice kilometer at the 2018 Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere German Open in Wöhrsee, Burghausen, Germany.

On 6th January 2018, she finished 10th overall in the 50m ice kilometer at the 2018 Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere German Open in Wöhrsee, Burghausen, Germany.

She was named one of the World's 50 Most Adventurous Open Water Women in 2019 by the World Open Water Swimming Association.

On 16th February 2019, Conny finished 2nd in the Ice Kilometer race in 4.6°C water, with an outside temperature of 8°C in Freizeitverein Altenwörth in Altenwörth, Austria.

She has completed two full Ironman triathlons at the Challenge Roth.
