Biography
Ski racer, athlete and all-round speed freak. Ski racer, athlete, speed-freak, that's how Beat Feuz describes himself on his website. The description couldn’t be more appropriate. The Swiss athlete ranks among the top stars on the World Cup circuit. He reigns supreme in the Downhill discipline. Over the past three seasons he’s won the Crystal Globe and in 2017, the Gold in the World Championship, to the delight of his home crowd in St. Moritz. These achievements are all the more remarkable as he had to fight against injury for many years, but now accepts his knee pain as just something he has to live and race with. Feuz is especially proud of his young daughter Clea, who was born in 2018, and his partner Katrin Triendl, a former World Cup ski athlete from Austria. Feuz also likes to demonstrate his talent at tennis, occasionally competing in the club championship in Triendl's home town of Oberperfuss in Tirol.
