Terms and Conditions – FWT Sweepstake
I. General
The FWT sweepstake is a sweepstake organised by HEAD Sport GmbH, Wuhrkopfweg 1, 6921 Kennelbach, Austria ("HEAD") that runs during the FWT event in Verbier ("Competition").
This sweepstake is a public competition. HEAD will also report publicly about the Competition.
Unless provided otherwise herein this Competition is free of charge and is only subject to the present Terms & Conditions ("T&C") and to all applicable laws and regulations.
By filling in and submitting the sweepstake form you ("Participant") agree to be bound by these T&C and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements below. If you do not agree to these T&C, you may not participate in the Competition.
II. Competition Process and Selection of Winners
1. Competition Period
The Competition begins on March 27, 2026 at 12 PM and ends on March 29, 2026 at 6 PM.
2. Eligibility Requirements
In order to participate you need to reside in one of the following countries: Andorra, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, United Kingdom, Ireland, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and Cyprus. People from other countries cannot participate.
In addition, you must be at least 18 years of age and not belong to the group of excluded persons (see section 3). Competition entries from persons under the age of 18 will not be considered.
3. Exclusions
The following people are excluded from participation in the Competition: HEAD employees and their families, and the employees and families of partners of HEAD, who are involved with the design, organization and implementation of this Competition.
4. Prizes
The prizes are as follows:
On March 27, 2026: one (1) pair of HEAD CRUX Carbon ski touring poles
On March 28, 2026: one (1) pair of HEAD KORE, OBLIVION or CRUX skis
On March 29, 2026: one (1) pair of HEAD KORE Freeride ski boots
Hence, there will be only one winner per day (March 27, 28 & 29, 2026).
5. Participation
The participation in the Competition is only possible by completely and correctly filling in the sweepstake form. If the sweepstake form is not filled in completely or correctly, HEAD is not obliged to find out the correct information. Any disadvantages resulting from the provision of incorrect information shall be borne by the participant. This only applies if the organizer has not acted intentionally or with gross negligence. Participants may only enter the Competition once.
6. Selection and Notification of Winners
The winners will be randomly drawn no later than:
March 27 between 4:00 – 5:00 PM
March 28 between 4:00 – 5:00 PM
March 29 between 4:00 – 5:00 PM
In case of winning, Participants will be notified by HEAD via e-mail within 7 days after the draw ("Selected Winner"). Selected Winners may reject any prize awarded to them. If a Selected Winner does not confirm the acceptance of the prize within 7 days after receiving the notification of winning mentioned in this clause II.6, the notification will be without effect and the prize will be withdrawn, unless the organizer is guilty of intentional or grossly negligent conduct. In this case HEAD reserves the right to determine alternative winners by conducting subsequent random drawings until the required number of winners are determined. The same applies if a Selected Winner rejects the prize.
7. Prize Delivery
Once Participant has accepted the prize ("Winner") and has provided HEAD with contact details and relevant data regarding the product (product type, ski length, pole length, boot size), HEAD will deliver it to the Winner by courier/mail. HEAD bears the delivery cost of the prizes; however, all other potential costs related to winning a prize, such as any taxes or duties, shall be borne by the Winner.
8. No Alternatives
No cash alternatives will be provided and prizes are not exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable.
9. HEAD's Discretion
The Competition will be run at HEAD's sole discretion. HEAD's decision in relation to all matters in connection with the Competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
III. Liability and Warranty
1. Warranty
Participants are herewith informed that for the prize (ski) the same warranty and operational provisions will be applicable as for products sold by retailers. However, HEAD shall not be liable for anything additionally.
2. Limitation of Liability
HEAD is only liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. This limitation of liability does not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health of persons and to claims under the Product Liability Act. Furthermore, the limitation of liability also does not apply to the breach of primary contractual obligations.
3. Professional Adjustment
In particular, HEAD herewith explicitly reminds the potential winner of a prize that the skis still must be adjusted professionally by an authorised sports retailer (especially the mounting of bindings). HEAD shall not be liable for any damage which results from an incorrect adjustment or for an adjustment not made by an authorized professional.
IV. Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
1. Applicable Law
These T&C are exclusively subject to the laws of the Republic of Austria, excluding the referral provisions of international private law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the consumer has his habitual residence is not withdrawn.
2. Place of Jurisdiction
Any legal issues that arise in connection with the performance of and participation in this Competition will exclusively be dealt with by the relevant courts in the place of jurisdiction of the HEAD headquarters in 6921 Kennelbach, provided this does not contravene any compulsory legislation for consumers. HEAD may however also elect to apply to the courts of the residence of Participant.
