Biography
Flo Gassner, born on August 21, 1998, grew up in a Munich suburb. He started skiing at the age of two. His father, a passionate ski instructor, taught him how to ski - on and off the piste. After a few years in ski racing, he switched to freeride. He took part in the Freeride Junior Tour, the Freeride Junior World Championships and the Freeride Qualifier Tour and connected with like-minded athletes who shared his passion for freeride sports. Together with friends, he began shooting his first ski film. Over the years, they produced more freeride films with their "Mountain Tribe" crew. These can now be seen all over the world and keep picking up awards, such as for "Best Film in Snowsports" at the Banff Mountain Film Festival in 2020. In addition to his skiing career, Flo also graduated with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. During the summer season he works as a freelance photographer and filmmaker.
