Biography
Yui Ohno is a freeride skier from Hakuba Japan. She grew up ski racing at Happo-One Ski Resort. When she was 16, she switched from racing to freestyle big air, slopestyle and halfpipe. She started backcountry at the age of 21 and fulfilled her dream of skiing in the Happo backcountry which has been her dream since she was a teenager. She then entered a freeride competition that was decided to be held in Japan. In 2021 she placed 2nd in FWQ FREERIDE HAKUBA and in 2022 she placed 3rd. She grew up in Hakuba Valley and enjoys skiing with her passion. During the summer she enjoys climbing, mountain biking, surfing and yowsurfskate.
