Biography

A shooting star on a golden mission It was clear from her World Cup debut in January 2020 that she was destined to become one of the best: Ebba Aarsjoe, born in 2001, won her first race, the Giant Slalom in Kranjska Gora. From then on, things really took off for the alpine skiing para athlete. In 2021, the Swedish athlete won Gold in the Slalom and Parallel Slalom at the World Championships in Lillehammer, and in 2022 at the Paralympics in Beijing she won Gold in the Super Combined event and Slalom as well as Bronze in the Downhill. In 2023, Ebba Aarsjoe was crowned four-time World Champion at the World Championships in Espot - in the Super-G, Slalom, Giant Slalom and Combined event. In addition, she has already bagged the World Cup in Slalom twice (2021/22 and 2022/23). No wonder she was awarded the title of Shooting Star of the Year 2021. In 2022, Ebba Aarsjoe received the Swedish Victoria Award. "I'm so proud to be a HEAD World Cup Rebel," says the delighted Swedish athlete. "This is more than just a big step in my career. I think this is a great opportunity to raise awareness about our sport and tell people more about who we are. This step expresses honour, respect and recognition for all those involved in alpine para skiing." In her private life, Ebba Aarsjoe enjoys spending time at and on the sea, travelling, meeting family and friends, and she also loves music.
