COLE RICHARDSON’S ALL NEW SIGNATURE SKIS

HEAD‘s OBLIVION ski line is all about progression and creativity on the mountain. Now, the range is following our most forward-thinking freeskiers into new terrain.
After concept calls, design workshops and prototype tests, two new, backcountry focussed skis have arrived.
Are you ready for the new OBLIVION?

DEVELOPED THROUGH COLLABORATION

From the first drawings to the finishing touches, the HEAD Freeski team led by Cole Richardson have collaborated with
HEAD’s design team in Austria to produce the perfect twin-tip powder skis with the NEW Oblivion 116 and 102.

A NATURAL PARTNERSHIP

One of the most progressive personalities in the world of Freeskiing, Cole’s high-energy blend of Freeride and Freestyle embodies everything the OBLIVION skis aspire to be.

After Cole was named IF3’s Breakout Skier of the Year in 2021, inviting the Canadian on board to help develop the new OBLIVION 116 and 102 was a no-brainer.

PROGRESSIVE DESIGN

Collaborating with the design teams in HEAD’s Austrian headquarters, Cole brought a fresh creativity and energy to the process, qualities that are evident in the finished products.

Cole was hands-on through the development of the new skis, from tuning the geometry through to graphic design and the finishing touches.

TRIED AND TESTED

After rigorous tests by Cole and HEAD’s Freeski team, the new OBLIVION has been tuned and tweaked to provide that perfect mix of playfulness and performance.

From big lines in the backcountry, to shredding around resort to laps in the park, the new OBLIVION models are pro-approved catalysts for creativity.

This is Cole’s vision of “the perfect powder ski”. A playful shape and responsive pop inspire self-expression on the mountain,

TNT ROCKER

Tip and tail rocker combined with regular camber underfoot. This combination creates a surfy feel in powder while maintaining hard snow versatility. 40% rocker – 60% camber.

“This project is the beginning of something really special. I wanted to create a ski that can cover all bases,
a ski that can charge as hard as I need it to, yet still be playful and fun when I want it to BE. After testing
it in the backcountry, around resort, and in the park, I think it’s safe to say, we did just that.”
