Franz Weber was crowned European skateboarding champion before devoting himself to his passion for high-speed skiing. He was the best in the world in this discipline for many years. Tyrolean born and bred, he won six World Championship titles in a row from 1980 to 1985. His personal record was set at the 1992 Olympic Games in Albertville, when he blasted down the slope at 222.222 kph. Today Franz Weber works in Reno in the USA as a successful businessman in sport management and consultancy.
