Biography
From football to freestyle For a long time, it looked as though Jost Klancar would find his greatest success in soccer. The Slovenian athlete from Kranj, born on March 7, 2003, received several awards as the best goalkeeper in the country at the age of 13. But then Jost decided to pursue his great passion, skiing. This sport is more or less in his blood. His father, who runs a ski club, put him on skis at the age of two and supported his son's skiing career. Jost started with moguls competitions, but soon switched to Slopestyle and Big Air. Among his greatest successes was finishing in 7th place in Big Air at the 2021 Junior World Championships in Krasnoyarsk. In January 2021, Jost made his Big Air World Cup debut in Kreischberg. His hobbies include kiteboarding, wakeboarding, mountain biking, tennis and volleyball.
