Gifted horse rider and Olympic ski athlete. Although Alice McKennis has already stood on top of the podium in a World Cup race - the Downhill in St. Anton in 2013 - the American athlete has particularly fond memories of her performance in the 2018 Olympics. In the Downhill in Pyeongchang she finished in an impressive fifth place. Alice McKennis is an extremely versatile person. As a child she proved to be a gifted horse rider. At the age of 12 she won a riding competition even though most of her competitors were up to six years older. She has rowed a 30-year-old boat down the Grand Canyon. And she loves fly-fishing. Her dream after her skiing career is to run a lodge in the La Sal mountain range in Utah.
